Baby steps, Bob.

Sylvia was so happy playing with a couple of wipes today that she wouldn't put them down, even when she tried to pick up other toys. She looked like Bill Murray in "What About Bob?", using tissues to pick things up while staying germ-free. Or maybe she's trying to tell me the house is too dirty?

Castle in Kansas City

While Peter and Magda visit real castles in Poland, we visit a stone wall left over from who knows what in Kansas City. I'd like to imagine it was once a castle, but that makes no sense.

Sylvia, of course, was much more interested in whatever was in the grass.

Nesting.

I love that "nesting" can mean "Get the dining room and kitchen painted before the baby comes!!!!" For me, it was refinishing the floors upstairs. Babies don't really require these things to be done before they arrive, but moms sure do.

Great work, Marian!

Summertime. Diaper-only fashion.

Sylvia is having a great time at the farm. As Charlie would say, she's gone native.

Ten months old today!

To celebrate, we focused on two of her favorite things: books and pulling things off shelves. Perfecto.

What made a 3:30 am wake-up okay

Grandpa drove us to the airport, then Daddy taught Sylvia about standing on the luggage.

We had a great time in Colorado. So glad we got everyone together. Tascio siblings, let's plan a reunion too.

July 5th softball game

The siblings! Martha played most of the game with Bernadette riding piggyback.

Babies get the best seats

And Sylvia got to taste her first watermelon. She found the pink AND the green parts equally tasty.

Cah-wo-wado!!!!

Denver!

We are Leadville bound now. With traffic, it's taking us approximately forever. Luckily, the adults have mostly avoided melting down. The kids too!
