Probably
There was a big fly buzzing around our house yesterday, and Sylvia watched it with great interest. This morning, she brought it up again.
Sylvia: Where did the fly go, I wonder?
Me: I'm not sure.
Sylvia: Probably back to his house, to make some tea. And some tortilla.

It was tooooo quiet
Paul and I were talking over dinner while Sylvia was upstairs playing. After a few minutes, I called up to her.
Me: Sylvia, you ok up there?
S: Oh, yes, I'm okay!
Me: What are you doing?
S: Checking the toilet!
Needless to say, I went straight upstairs to find out what that meant. It wasn't as terrible as I imagined, but -- lesson learned.

Listening to the heartbeat
Sylvia is starting to get into this whole brother thing. On the other hand, her most frequently suggested name for the new baby is "Sister;" our favorite suggestion of hers so far is "Diaper."

Rodeo
We took Sylvia to a horse trade show (Paul was working there) and a rodeo. Her assessment: "Those horses are crazy! Those cows are crazy, too." No verdict on the grown men trying to wrestle a very angry calf to the ground just for fun.
