“Now I can always do it!”

Tonight Paul asked her how she felt while climbing through the rope tunnel. "I felt calm," she said.

She narrated some of her climbing to me, saying at one point that she was "on the wrong diagonal, so I had to put my foot on the right rope to find the correct path."

“I will never give up on myself!”

Sylvia decided quite suddenly today to climb to the very top of the big rope structure at the park. And she did it, over and over, with great excitement. The first time she finished she ran over to me shouting, "I did it! I did it!" with the biggest and most delighted smile I've ever seen on her face. Then she went right back up.
