Dandelion cookies

I knew this experiment would be more about the process, and it was. We picked the flowers, washed them, and pulled off the petals. We made the cookie dough. We baked them. We made a glaze and decorated them. The kids stayed engaged the whole time, and the cookies looked so pretty when they were done. We had so much fun.

And now for the bad news: YUCK. It wasn't the fault of the dandelions - the cookie itself was just so blah. I think next time I cook with flowers, we'll just pick a favorite cookie recipe and add petals 😊
