Cake smash!

A preschool end-of-year tradition. Because we did it at home, Sylvia got to participate, making it her fourth time.

Levi loves naps

He's started to make it a regular thing. It really messes up bedtime, but he's so peaceful (and it's so quiet) that I often let it happen.

Muddy Swope Park

We tried to hike the bike trail, but it was so muddy we couldn't make it up the first hill. We walked along the road a short while, saw a ground hog in the woods who definitely saw us too, and then went home. But not before Levi looked up and said, "Look! A tree tunnel!"

I accidentally posted these here instead of on Sylvia's academic website. I think I'll leave them here as a little time capsule.

Storage unit

The movers put Dad's things into storage today. The kids pretended the car seats were slides to pass the time. I had them bring all the DVDs, vinyl records, and guitars to my house.
