I made Sylvia ride in the car today for ten minutes so we could walk in Loose Park and see the rose garden. She cried herself to sleep on the way there. The guilt was tremendous.
She looks perfectly serene now :) I can imagine your distress when she was crying but the end result is so peaceful- maybe that will help assuage the guilt :)
I'll bet you're feeling really glad you decided not to drive to Nebraska this weekend, aren't you? :)
